3M First Base + Bump Cap

The 3M First Base + Bump Caps are designed to provide limited head protection from bumps and minor lacerations to the head from stationary objects. This offers industrial bump protection with their patented flexible shell design manufactured from durable ABS plastic and breathable woven fabric and foam with airflow channels for ventilation. The First Base + range has an adjustable elastic strap for a personal fit, and an absorbent terry toweling sweatband for added comfort. The safety bump caps also feature optional customisation areas where a brand name or logo can be added.

This range of bump caps also has a differing peak lengths, which can provide added shade or an increased field of view depending on your needs.

Applications

Can Bump Caps be used in Hard Hat areas?

Though they can protect the head from injury, bump caps are not typically designed to protect from falling objects, and so are not recommended to be used as a hard hat substitute.
