ESD Laboratory Coats
From RS PRO this Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) lab coat, is ideal for all your laboratory, science, medical and engineering work. Wearing a laboratory coat/ white coat as workwear is common practise for many professionals, allowing them to work with the piece of mind that they are doing so with their safety in mind by wearing the correct personal protective clothing required.
ESD garments form a conductive grid around the upper body, so that any electrostatic fields are held within the garment. They are specifically worn to control electronic charges generated by personnel working in an ESD safe area.
This RS PRO unisex white laboratory coat is made from 52% polyester, 44% cotton and 4% conductive thread. The material is lightweight and breathable with back pleats to give you maximum comfort. There is an ESD protective symbol on the breast pocket of the lab coat, showing that this ESD safe laboratory coat has been designed to help with static discharge.
This reusable lab coat has concealed stud rings for easy opening and closing covered by an overlap, there are 3 handy pockets; two lower patch pockets and a single chest pocket. The lab coat is long enough to offer you adequate protection whilst going about your daily working duties.
